About the Presenter:
Dr. Tushar Agarwal, M.D. works as Professor of Ophthalmology at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Dr. Agarwal graduated in Medicine from the Delhi University and completed post graduation in Ophthalmology from AIIMS. Subsequently, he obtained super specialty training in Corneal and Refractive Surgery from the same institution. He has been on the faculty of AIIMS since 2005. Dr. Agarwal has co-authored over 90 peer reviewed research papers in the area of corneal and refractive surgery.
Dr. Agarwal has received the Achievement Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Asia Pacific Association of Ophthalmology. He is also the recipient of the Indian National Science Academy’s Young Scientist Medal. His surgical videos have been recognised with the Best of Show Award on multiple occasions by the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
